About Project
For the globally broadcast Dota2 Major in Stockholm, we delivered a cinematic AR sequence that brought iconic game characters to life in real time. Developed for a high-stakes esports stage, the AR reveal merged stylized animation, game asset enhancement, and Unreal Engine visual effects — all built for seamless live integration.

creative execution
Using original game-provided models, we rebuilt and optimized the characters for performance in real-time broadcast. Niagara simulations and spatial staging were layered into the Unreal Engine environment to elevate scale, atmosphere, and impact.
The animation was fully synced to live camera movement, ensuring the augmented sequence appeared grounded within the physical arena. Designed for broadcast tempo, the piece became a highlight of the event’s visual programming — delivering high-fidelity AR without sacrificing performance speed or visual clarity.
