IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION
ARTECHOUSE NYC · May 2025
About Project
A digital tribute to Tajikistan’s cultural soul, Threads of Tradition transformed centuries of poetry, sacred architecture, and ritual into an immersive 360° experience. Commissioned by the Republic of Tajikistan, the exhibition premiered at ARTECHOUSE NYC across 445 square meters of projection surface in 20K resolution with 30-channel spatial sound — merging spatial sound, cinematic visuals, and generative design into a multisensory journey.
The 15-minute continuous loop invited audiences to step into a fluid audiovisual poem — an open portal into the memory, presence, and rhythm of a land shaped by wisdom and spirit. The exhibition opened with a private diplomatic reception and continued with three sold-out public.

The show unfolded as a seamless narrative, voiced by the legacies of Rudaki and Avicenna. Weaving together 360° footage, cinematic field recordings, symbolic CG worlds, and layered sound, it offered a reimagined lens on heritage — immersive yet reverent, poetic yet precise.
Filming took place across Tajikistan’s ancient cities, highland landscapes, and artisan enclaves. The content was then transformed through Unreal Engine and Houdini into an architectural lightscape — a dance of texture, motion, and meaning. Projection mapping and spatial sound synchronized every surface to create full emotional immersion.
